It’s always free to start and run a NameGame.

Welcome to Derbyz! and thanks for your interest in playing our NameGame! This is an exciting new way to utilize social media fundraising, with a few unique twists.

Our NameGame uses a ‘race’ format and your chosen ‘names’ compete, as driven by donations from the players. People from all around the world can combine efforts, playing simultaneously, to create a winner! The game is real time, lasting for a few days, with a set time for start and finish. The name with the largest purse at the end, wins! It is exciting to see players become very motivated to see their choice win. This really helps create interest in your new animal and in support for that animal. Creating a sense of both attachment and community gives this game a unique connection to your audience, and we have found that the donations increase with this bond!

Emagine Games is the creator of the game software and is the service provider of DERBYZ NameGames. We provide the framework for the game play and payment flow through Paypal. The game Host is the primary receiver of the money spent by Players. Both PayPal and Emagine games collect a small transaction fee for each play. (See Legal Stuff -> Payments for further details.)
